Forcefield Body Armour made its first steps into the winter sports market in the early naughties when body armour for skiing and snowboarding was virtually unheard of. Forcefield identified the potential as skiers and snowboarders started to push the boundaries going higher, faster and bigger and inevitably having larger impacts when it went wrong.
Using the tried and tested soft armour technologies that had been proven in motorcycling we started to develop specific armor products such as the Sport-Lite 2 back protector, Board Short and Limb tubes and are the favoured protection for a number of pro skiers and snowboarders including the UK Salomon Snowboard team, The GB SBX team and triple X Games Winner Jenny Jones.
