Forcefield Sponsored David McFadden was crowned the new South African Supersport champion at Zwartkops on Saturday 26th November.

Supported through Forcefield Distributor Motosport Distribution McFadden did enough on his Pepper Kawasaki to clinch the season's 600 Supersport title in the final rounds of this year's South African Motorcycle Racing championships.

Arriving at Zwartkops, McFadden and Clinton Seller (Bikefin Honda) were virtually locked on points in the 2011 title chase. Their fight was destined to go all the way to the wire, with Seller taking pole position for both of the day's races, marginally ahead of McFadden.
Seller blasted into an immediate lead in the opening race, closely shadowed by Lance Isaacs (Bikefin Honda), Dean Vos (Triple F Kawasaki) and McFadden, who was trailing in fourth after a tardy start.
McFadden got his head down and charged past Vos on the second lap. Three laps later he dispatched Isaacs, and he took the lead on the ninth lap.
Seller was not about to lose the title that easily though, and he retook the front place on the penultimate lap.
Then, in a move that had the entire pit lane on its feet, McFadden outbraked Seller into the very last corner of the race. He won the subsequent drag race to the line, beating Seller by eight hundredths of a second.
