Forcefield unveil 2012 BSB Sponsored Riders

Forcefield Body Armour have had a very busy winter signing up riders to support during the 2012 race season and are happy to be able to confirm sponsorship deals with a host of top riders competing in road racing, BSB Superbikes, BSB Supersport, National Superstock, and GP125 championships.


Ryan Farquhar continues to use Forcefield in Road Racing and is joined by new team mate Jamie Hamilton as well as Ollie Lindsell and Simon Andrews who will be competing in various events throughout the year including the Isle Of Man TT and North West 200.

British Superbike riders include Buildbase BMW’s Dan Linfoot and Barry Burrell and Tristan Palmer who will be riding a GB Moto Honda.

In the closely fought British Supersport class Forcefield have gained some of the best riders in the paddock with Gearlink Kawsakis’ Ben Wilson, runner up in 2011 Championship along with Smiths Triumph Billy McConnell, 3rd in the 2011 series, Seton Yamaha’s Sam Warren, 5th 2011, Oxford TAG Triumph’s Christian Iddon, 6th 2011 and also up and coming youngster Appleyards Macadams’ Deane Brown, 4th in National Stock 600’s in 2011, all riders are capable of extremely good results this season.

In the National Superstock 1000 class Forcefield are supporting six riders with CN Racings’ Danny Buchan, 2nd 2011, PBM Keith Farmer, Stock 600 Champion, Padgett riders Adam Jenkinson, 6th 2011 and Joe Dickinson. Forcefield are also continuing to support Gary Beardsley who goes into his second season wearing Forcefield.

The National Superstock 600 Championship will see Forcefield supporting Billy McConnell’s team-mate at Smiths Triumph, Johnny Blackshaw 7th 2011, and also long standing Forcefield user Josh Wainwright 9th 2011. Wainwright tested the Forcefield Body Armour in a serious crash last year at the final round at Brands Hatch where he was hit a number of times by other machines in the back, he sustained only minor injuries and credited his Forcefield back protector with saving him from serious injury. Also in the Stock 600 class will be the remaining Seton Yamaha riders a mixture of Australian and a South African, riders Ben Burke 5th 2011, Mark Wilkinson and Bjorn Estment.

In the 125 Class is the youngest Forcefield supported rider 15-year-old Bradley Hughes, Bradley completed his first season in the British 125 class last season and is looking forward to his second competitive year in the class.

Forcefield are also supporting Gary Johnson, Gary will race for Honda UK in the National Superstock 1000 class, he will race the World Endurance for the Honda Legends Team, he will compete on the roads with Padgetts in Superstock and the Superbike classes and his own privately run Supersport team for the roads with Lincs Lifting and also Callmac Scaffolding – a busy year for the super quick rider from Lincolnshire.
