4 Podiums & 1 Win for Forcefield at Donington WSB round

The Metzeler National Superstock 1000 and 600 Championships were allocated two races each at the Donington World Superbike Race. It was a successful weekend for the Forcefield backed riders and thankfully not so many crashes for them to test out the Forcefield Body Armour! Ben Burke racing for Seton Tuning Yamahain the National Superstock 600 class took a stunning win in the second race on Sunday and finished a very good second place during the first race on Saturday.

Danny Buchan on the MSS Bathams Kawasaki secured a couple of third places in the National Superstock 1000 Championship. After his massive crash at Oulton Park last weekend Keith Farmer was unfortunate to crash out of race one and gain seventh place in race two.

There were a couple of big crashes over the weekend which affected the Forcefield riders the first was during qualifying on Friday when Smiths Triumph riders crashed at the very fast Craner Curve section of the circuit.

Johnny – “Once again I tested the Forcefield Back and Chest protector out, I had a huge high-side mid way through the exit of Craner Curves at Donington which send me flying through the air at 120+ mph, after landing on my back and rolling about 50 yards I walked away winded and with one bruised rib. There is not a bruise in sight on my back, I’m a little sore and stiff this morning but the Forcefield Body Armour did its job perfectly for me once again! Thanks guys!”

The other rider who tested out the Forcefield Body Armour was Bjorn Estment after he high sided out of race two on Sunday.

Bjorn – “After having a fairly good weekend I was really confident for a podium in race two and to finish the weekend on a high, instead unfortunately it ended in a high side whilst I was running at the sharp end of the field. Thanks to the brilliant protection provided by my Forcefield Body Armour I got away with very little injuries and no damage at all to the areas protected by my back and chest protector. I’m looking forward to getting back out there at Snetterton in a few weeks times.”
