The latest round of the British Superbike Championship was at Cadwell Park for round eight of the Championship. At the very testing circuit some of the Forcefield riders put the gear to the test, all walked away relatively unscathed and were able to compete in their respective races.

Keith Farmer on the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki had the most successful weekend and qualified on pole position and took another solid win, extending his Championship lead to ten points. Commenting he said "I would just like to give all the guys at Forcefield a big thank you as the back and chest protectors have supported me really well this year in a couple of very big crashes on the Superstock and Superbike. Thankfully nothing to report from Cadwell this weekend except a pole position and the race win!"
Forcefield rider Danny Buchan who was riding for MSS Kawasaki enjoyed his second weekend racing in the Superbike class and despite suffering two crashes over the weekend walked away with no major injuries and secured a fantastic fourth place in the first BSB race on Monday.
Danny Buchan - "It's definitely been a mixed weekend and I'm still learning how to ride a Superbike and where my limits are. I was made up with my fourth place in race one and just unlucky to crash out of race two as I was feeling really good on the bike. I had a big crash on Saturday at Mansfield and I took a bit of a beating, thankfully the Forcefield body armour did its job in both the crashes I had. Having broken my back in a MX training crash a month ago it's important that I keep it protected and it did the job I needed it to do."
Johnny Blackshaw in the Superstock 600 class also had a huge crash in the first practice session, he high-sided at 100mph. He said "It was a huge crash and I didn't even have time to think about it, it was a big high-side and on a downhill corner. I was thrown around 10 ft high and landed on my back, it knocked the wind out of me and I have a couple of bruises and I'm a little stiff but thankfully no broken bones to report of thanks to Forcefield."
