4 Podiums for Forcefield Riders at Donington Park BSB

Donington Park played host to round nine of the British Superbike Championship last weekend.  The unusually warm late summer weather caused problems by creating a greasy top surface leading to some of the Forcefield clad riders testing out their armour which once again performed superbly leaving the riders with no serious injuries and allowing a total of four podium places to be taken.

One of the newest riders to the British Superbike grid is Danny Buchan and after his stunning ride at Cadwell Park on the MSS Kawasaki Superbike he struggled at Donington Park, a crash during Friday practice left him sore.

Danny - "I was involved in a crash on Friday and walked away with no injuries except a little sore and stiff. We had a few problems setting the bike up this weekend and I'm still trying to learn the ways of riding a Superbike and getting it right, Donington was only my third race on the bike and I'm really enjoying it but it is very difficult to get it right."

Keith Farmer on the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki still leads the Superstock 1000 Championship by nine points despite a massive crash down the fastest part of the circuit, Craner Curves on Saturday. "I ended up joining the 'Craners Club' at the weekend but thankfully I didn't end up with any serious injuries thanks to my Forcefield Body Armour. However my bike came out much worse and needed a total rebuild, the team worked mega hard and I managed to get a result and some points but certainly not the result I was hoping for."

Christian Iddon was the most successful Forcefield wearer over the weekend he gained two third places in the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship at Donington Park and is now lying in fourth place in the Championship standings. He said "It was a really good weekend and I'm really pleased to have been able to secure two podium finishes. It was a really hot weekend and the Forcefield under-suits kept my body temperature right throughout every session and the race and would like to thank them for their support this year."
