Round 10 of the MCE British Superbike Championship saw the racers visit the Dutch circuit of Assen for the first time where Forcefield supported riders had a successful weekend and thankfully not many had to test out the products.
The National Superstock 600 and 1000 class were not at Assen and will resume their normally Championship at Silverstone.
Christian Iddon was the most successful Forcefield wearer over the weekend he gained his first ever win in the British Supersport Championship in the first race on Saturday, he followed that up with a second place during the race on Sunday. "I'm over the moon to take my first British Supersport race win it's a great feeling and I'm really grateful to the Oxford TAG Triumph team for everything they have done this year, I'd also like to thank my sponsors, one of them being Forcefield and finally I've been able to repay them all. I hope I can carry on this form to the end of the season as it's a great feeling."
Deane Brown was one of the only riders to put the Forcefield products through its' paces this weekend after suffering a huge high-side in race two.
Deane Brown - "Things had been going all weekend and I got a good qualifying position for race one and had a good race and was looking forward to race two. I was running ok but then I had a huge high-side and landed square on my back, it knocked the wind out of me but once again the Forcefield kit is mega and really helped me a few times this year to walk away with no injuries."
