Forcefield Team up With Austin Vince

24/10/2012 10:42:00

The unique adventure motorcyclist, traveller, film maker and all round good guy Austin Vince visits Forcefield HQ ahead of his next epic adventure and film Mondo Sahara.

Mondo Sahara is a seven man team riding 3000 miles off – road from Bilbao to Mauritania. Once there, they will launch an extreme unsupported solo 1000 mile lunge into the Empty Quarter of the Sahara. Each night they will be digging up caches of buried food, fuel and water that were hidden weeks earlier by a desert logistics team from the Beast Of Burden outfit. This has never been attempted on such an ambitious level before. It really is cutting edge motorcycle adventure.

As well as Austin Vince in the role of director cameraman, there are two other camermen embedded in the team. This will be a proper, watchable, coherent HD adventure documentary, and the great news is that Austin and the team have chosen to use Forcefield Body Armour to protect themselves from the inevitable falls that are part of riding in this type of terrain.

Having never worn armour before Austin has been converted to Forcefield as it is so comfortable and flexible as well as having the ability to withstand multiple impacts meaning in the event of an accident Austin will still have armour that will protect him for the rest of his trip.
