6 podiums for Forcefield riders at BSB season opener

It was a good solid start to the MCE British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch for all the Forcefield Body Armour supported riders. Despite the cold track conditions the majority of the riders escaped the weekend thankfully crash free.

One rider that did crash heavily was ex British Supersport Champion and current British Superbike racer Karl Harris, crashing at 130mph the tough Yorkshireman luckily walked away unscathed.

Karl Harris - "I had two pretty big crashes this weekend one of them was at 130mph and I've walked away with not a scratch on me thanks to the Forcefield Body Armour doing its job. I'm really pleased with its all and very comfy to wear, hopefully no more crashes for a while!"

It was a successful weekend for the Forcefield riders and some good results coming from it with Adam Jenkinson taking his first win of the year in the fiercely competivie National Superstock 1000 class on his SMT Kawasaki.

Adam Jenkinson - "Had no issues all this weekend at Brands Hatch and I was able to take my first win of the season for the team. As always you don't even know you're wearing the Forcefield protection so it allows you to have something less to worry about. I'm really pleased with my result and thank the SMT team for their hard work."

In the British Supersport Championship, probably the most competitive class this season Forcefield supported rider Ben Wilson was unlucky to miss out on the win by 0.4. In the British Supersport Cup up and coming talent 17-year-old Jake Dixon took the win in both races with fellow Forcefield support rider Bjorn Estment taking a solid second and third place respectively in the Cup.

Bjorn Estment - "Once again the BSB season has started and I'm pleased to continue my partnership with the top of the range Forcefield gear! As always the kit provided all the comfort in the world and gave me the confidence to storm to two debut podiums in the Supersport Cup class, roll on Thruxton."

Danny Buchan - "Mega undersuits, they kept me warm and really breathable."

Luke Hedger - "The Forcefield kit is very good and awesome protection."

James Egan - "My base layers kept me warm enough in the cold conditions, all going well so far."

Jimmy Storrar - "Luckily I didn't crash test the Forcefield kit, the fit is perfect and very comfy."

Deane Brown - "Didn't have to test it this weekend, everything was great as usual."

John Simpson - "Thankfully no crashing this weekend, the armour and under suits are very comfortable though."

Josh Wainwright - "As always the Forcefield kit is awesome and I love wearing it!"
