The British National Superstock riders were racing alongside the World Superbike Championship over the late May long weekend, with their Championships not going to Assen later in the season, round four of their Championship took place at the fantastic Donington Park circuit.

In what is now officially the coldest spring for over 60 years the weather conditions for Friday testing were horrendous with heavy rain, strong winds and cold conditions it certainly tested all the riders with several opting to miss out on the sessions.

On Saturday morning it was like the race was in a different country and the sun shone down and the crowds packed in to watch the World Superbike boys in action.

With limited track time it was a good weekend for the Forcefield riders with Adam Jenkinson taking another win in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship and also the lead in the series.

Adam Jenkinson - "It was a really good weekend for me and the SMT team and I managed to take another win in the Championship and the lead overall. The Forcefield stuff worked great with the undersuits keeping me warm on the Friday and cool on the Saturday and Sunday. I am looking forward to Knockhill in a few weeks' time."

Luke Hedger riding in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class was unlucky to miss out on his first win for the Gearlink Kawasaki team after securing a four second lead when the safety car was sent out on track bunching the riders together and forcing them into a two lap dash to the line, he just missed out but gained a great second place.

James Egan was the only one of the Forcefield rider who took a tumble over the weekend, he said "In the changing weather conditions with rain and cold on Friday to hot and sunny on race day, my all weather base layers really worked well to keep me at the right temperature. I had a small crash in qualifying and my Forcefield back and chest protector did its job perfectly."
