The British Superbike Championship headed to the most challenging circuit on the calendar over the late bank holiday weekend, Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire
where a massive crowd of people turned out and enjoyed the sunshine and some fantastic racing.

It was a mixed weekend for the Forcefield riders with a handful of them really putting the Forcefield back and chest protectors through their paces. Several of the riders suffered big incidents at some of the fastest parts of the track. The most severe came in the Superstock 1000 race when previous winner Tristan Palmer was clipped by another rider forcing him to crash at turn two, Charlie's!

Tristan Palmer - "I was having a good weekend and looking for another podium and possibly a win. I was tagged and taken down at one of the fastest corners on the track and I got slammed under the air fencing and into the barrier. It knocked me for six to be honest and took me a while to get myself up, thankfully thanks to the awesome gear that Forcefield have given me I limped away with a small ankle injury. Back and chest were perfect so I must say a massive thank you to them."

In the Supersport class Supersport Cup contender Bjorn Estment had a crash during the first race on Sunday, hitting the barrier hard at the same corner as Tristan.

Bjorn Estment - "After a pretty large crash on Sunday and a nasty impact with the barrier and my bike, the Forcefield Body Armour stood its ground once again and protected me when and where it counted. I'm lucky to come away with a slightly large ankle but as for the scorecard Forcefield 1 - Barrier 0! Mega stuff thanks so much to all the guys there, I'll be back fighting fit at Donington."

After a row of wins Luke Hedger was eager to carry on his running streak of podiums at Cadwell Park but luck wasn't in his favour and he crashed out heavily on the opening lap.

Luke Hedger - "I'm really disappointed to have crashed out this weekend as things had been going so well. The crash was fast and I landed pretty heavily but thanks to the Forcefield gear for protecting me and I walked away battered and bruised but no major injuries. It's the first time I've tested the Forcefield kit out at that speed and it was great, however, I'm not planning on testing it again!"
