MC Gear Hub - May 2020

A Stellar Pro L2 K Review from the team at Mcgearhub - Many thanks !
"The Forcefield Pro L2K Evo Dynamic back protector has proven to be an apex predator of the back-protector ecosystem.
While some rivaling strap-on back protectors may approach or match its level of CE-certified impact protection, where the Pro L2K Evo back protector truly shines is in its contouring ability and second-skin manners, which are second to none. Add its superior armored coverage versus that of many of its competitors, and the Forcefield Pro L2K Evo back protector comes out on top effortlessly.
When push comes to shove, if you’re seeking unmatched armored protection for your entire back, the Forcefield Pro L2K Evo back protector is your trusted go-to protector. As simple as that.
Motorcycle Gear Hub’s seal of approval and most recommended!"

Motorcycle News Magazine - March 2020
At Forcefield HQ we have always been a fan of the superb Pro Sub 4 and its nice to see that other discerning bikers appreciate it too! Many thanks to the guys at MCN for the review.
Back in 2009, the Forcefield Pro Sub 4 was launched. The first motorcycle back protector to pass the CE 2 test at below 4kN*. The official test pass was 3.38kN. A world first, and industry award winner. Even today the Pro Sub 4 still holds the accolade of being the most protective motorcycle back protector available. That is some record!
The NEW Pro Sub 4K still passes the CE 2 test at this amazingly high protection level; it has the Forcefield DRI-M Technology (Dynamic, Reactive, Intelligent Materials) integrated throughout. It fits close to the body, 3D custom moulding to the wearer’s shape. It has the ability to withstand multiple impacts, and contains hundreds of breathable vent holes throughout to help maintain body temperature. The multi-layered technical materials are now held together with Kevlar thread for added security and strength. These sit in a refreshed, removable cover that can be washed and kept clean.

'Forcefield Body Armour Sport Suit takes the base layer concept to another level.
The suit is supremely comfortable and breathable, it incorporates compression fit technology and is equipped with a CE2 'Freefit' back insert.
It will also make you look like a super-hero or at least a member of Starfleet.'

Our new Winter Pro Shorts X-V 2 feature in Whitelines Buyer's Guide for 'Best Snowboard Protection 2019/20'
(October 2019)
Forcefield's new Winter Pro Shorts X-V 2 feature in this year's Whitelines Buyer's Guide in the 'Best Snowboard Protection 2019/20' category. Here is an excerpt of their review:
'Forcefield’s latest offering can’t stop you from falling over, but they can cushion the blow. Designed using extra breathable base layer material, and reinforced with pre-curved armour pieces to protect your most vulnerable areas, these impact shorts are the ultimate in booty protection.
They extend round to wrap the hips and coccyx too, so you’re all set to go bombing down the hill. They’re not just for park rats or slalom racers, half the point in protection is to give you peace of mind against other mavericks smashing in to you on the hill. The open mesh covering is more breathable, and lighter than ever before so you’re left with their most comfortable short to date.'

Forcefield Ultra-Lite appears in Whitelines Buyer's Guide for 'Best Snowboard Protection 2019/20'
(October 2019)
Whitelines have chosen our Ultra-Lite back protector for their 'Best Snowboard Protection 2019/20' category in this year's Buyer's Guide. Here is an excerpt of their review:
'Gone are the days of showing up to the mountains looking like Ross Geller’s Holiday Armadillo. Forcefield’s Ultra-Lite Back Protector provides all the impact absorption to make those reverse tacos, knuckle checks and apres stacks all the more bearable.
At only 19.5mm thick, it offers plenty of mobility, flexibility, and breathability. With full adjustments around the hip and shoulder straps, you can get a perfect fit and ride wall day without your base layers riding up and leaving you looking like you’ve been put on a spin cycle for too long.
Forcefield have made a name for themselves with their Nitrex Evo technology. It has incredible energy absorbing properties and is able to disperse the point of impact over the entire protector to dissipate the shock before it sends tremors right through your body.
Whether you’re spending your season in the park, out in the backcountry, or just dodging weapons between the pistes, this thing has fully got your, uhm… back.'

Forcefield Sport Pants receive a 4.5/5 from Motorcycle Gear Hub
(September 2019)
Thank you to Motorcycle Gear Hub (www.mcgearhub.com) for this review:
'Without exaggeration, the Forcefield Sport Pants not only have everything in them to rightfully earn their labeling as apex predators sitting atop the armored-underpant food chain but these underpants also have heaps and gobs to spare of everything and anything that is required to be classed as must-purchase-now motorcycle gear.
If you, as a motorcycle rider, are looking for protection, comfort, fitment, versatility, functionality, quality and durability in an armored underpant, then stop searching now and grab the Forcefield Sport Pants because these armored underpants have an excess of those same qualities that you’re looking for!

Forcefield Abrasion Resistant (AR) Knee Protector achieves a perfect score of 5/5 from Motorcycle Gear Hub
(August 2019)
Thank you to Motorcycle Gear Hub (www.mcgearhub.com) for this review:
'Making strap-on knee armor that satisfies the comfort aspect demanded by day-long riders is an arduous conundrum as demonstrated by much of the AR Knee Protector’s competition being nothing more than 30-minute-long armor. Forcefield has put its team’s efforts into designing and building a strap-on knee protector that, as usual with the brand, over-delivers and fearlessly takes on the competition.
The result? The exceptional product that is the Forcefield AR Knee Protector.
Motorcycle Gear approved and recommended!'

Forcefield Sport Suit receives a 4.5/5 from Motorcycle Gear Hub
(August 2019)
Thank you to Motorcycle Gear Hub (www.mcgearhub.com) for this review:
'The Forcefield Sport Suit is a revamped and improved concept of motorcycle under-armor that takes the use of armored undershirts and underpants to a new level. Does said concept work when put together as an armored undersuit? Indeed. Does the Sport Suit deliver the goods as a pioneering armored undersuit? Absolutely!
Armored undersuits may be new-to-you motorcycle gear, but the Forcefield Sport Suit is the reference which you must now include if you’re shopping for motorcycle gear, any motorcycle gear for that matter. Never will there be a bad time to get yourself inside your Forcefield Sport Suit and ride away.
Motorcycle Gear Hub approved and recommended!'

These include a CE2 Level 2 approved back protector and Isolator CE1 or CE2 protectors on shoulders, elbows, knees and hips.
The fabric used is a high-performance, breathable base layer, specially designed to be worn under classic motorcycle clothing, whether casual, textile or leather. Motorcycle News gives our Pro L2K Dynamic and Pro Sub 4K back protectors top marks in their '1000 Mile Test'
(April 2019)
Motorcycle News tested the Forcefield Pro Sub 4K over a 6-year period and 55,000 miles. It scored 5/5 for quality and 4/5 for value.
'If your jacket or leathers are already snug you'll want to avoid the Pro Sub 4K, because it's thicker than the average politician; but if you want top-notch protection, you've just found it.
It's a Level-2 protector, with tests showing it transmits less than 4kN of impact (it's claimed to be the first protector to do this). The outer is removable and washable and materials are high quality and durable. I covered over 45,000 miles in my last one (and 10,000 miles in this one).'

'The latest evolution of Forcefield's L2K protector is designed to be more comfortable than ever thanks to the innermost layer being softer and more pliable.
As a Level-2 protector, the Pro L2K Dynamic is one of the best performing back protectors on the market in terms of impact absorption, as it exceeds the performance dictated by the standard.
I can vouch for this, too, having taken many a knock wearing previous incarnations without injury.I won't ride without it, on road or track.'

Adventure Motorcycle Magazine (ADVMoto) reviews our Pro Jacket X-V (January/February 2019)
Here is a brilliant review of our Pro Jacket X-V from the January/February issue of Adventure Motorcycle Magazine (ADVMoto) sent in by our USA distributor, Motonation. An excerpt is below.
'Forcefield makes some of the most comfortable armor I’ve ever tested at ADVMoto.
The Pro Jacket X-V features high energy-absorbing back and limb armour that is lightweight, flexible and uses heat-activated 3D moulding to conform to your body.
The Pro Jacket X-V fits snugly, just as any base layer should. It’s easy to slip on, with thumb holes on the wrists, and so comfortable you’ll forget you’re wearing it. I’ve also worn it under a jersey during hot-weather dual-sport rides and felt just as comfortable with it on as off (with the added peace of mind).
The Pro Jacket X-V’s back armour is the shining feature of this garment. Forcefield packs a lot of R&D into their armor and claims the re-designed back piece is more flexible than competitor options, while optimizing safety. The whole jacket is constructed with breathability in mind, and “armor windows” that provide extra venting.
The Pro Jacket X-V has become a regular piece in my kit and, with it, I can wear whatever I want without having to sacrifice safety or comfort.'
